Upcoming balls: IWCZ Carnival and Burn's Night
Two grand balls will take place in Zagreb are scheduled for February.
The Caledonia Club Croatia is celebrating the birth of Scotland’s poet Rabbie Burns, and this event will be taking place in the Emerald Ballroom of Regent Esplanade Hotelm Saturday 12th February at 7.30 pm.
The evening will feature the finest haggis and whisky, traditional Scottish dance and music, plus of course the poetry and songs of The Bard.The Wullie Fraser Celidh Band, all the way from Edinburgh, will once again visit Zagreb to play their finest dancing tunes. Our bagpiper from the Highlands will play 'Scotland the Brave' and 'Flower of Scotland' and very special guests will entertain us with the genius of our icon. All profits from the event and the raffle will be donated to the Maestral Dom Za Djecu in Split and Kaštel.
