REGIONAL CONFERENCE
On financing municipal development
Regional Conference on Financing Municipal Development - Municipal Development Arena 2011, organized by Infoarena Group and co-organized by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), will be held on 22nd November, 2011, at the Regent Esplanade Hotel in Zagreb, under high patronage and participation of the President of the Republic of Croatia Ivo Josipović as well as by participation of H.E. Juha Ottman, the Ambassador of the Republic of Finland.
At the conference selected group of experts will discuss key issues that hinder new investments in municipal infrastructure and services as well as the sustainable delivery of municipal services in the 21 century.
The main topic of the Conference is "Fiscal decentralization and regulatory reform - Lessons learned in the region"
This subject will be discussed by the mayors of Zagreb, Ljubljana, Budapest, Vienna and Prime Minister of Sarajevo Canton.
