
Second Week of Japanese Culture in Zagreb was opened Saturday, October 29, 2011 at Museum od contemporary arts with the impresive sounds of Japanese taiko drums, performed by Kiyo-Kito band from Budapest.
H.E. Mr. Yoshio Tamura, Ambassador of Japan to Croatia prowdly announced many activities that will be hapenning during following week of Japanese culture in Zagreb, including exhibions of dragons, temari balls, origami, calligraphy etc.
Besides tasting Japanese food, including incredibly strong spice wasabi - that was really rare opportunity in Croatia - all guests at the openning were more then enthusiastic to learn Japanese festival dances. Teachers were children from Osijek.
Ambassador Tamura also joined dancing lessons.
