IWC ladies at UNICEF dinner

 

During the fundraising gala event "Promise to children", held on November 19, that is supported by the Croatian Government as part of a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, HRK 544.400 was raised.

 

 

Besides the Children's Rights Ombudsperson Mila Jelavić, the ceremonial dinner was attended by UNICEF's goodwill ambassadors: singer Zlatan Stipišić Gibonni, actress Bojana Gregorić Vejzović, singer Maja Vučić, Croatian national football team coach Slaven Bilić and Regional UNICEF representative Judith Reichenberg.

 

Donations were collected by purchase of sponsorship table seating, and one of the tables was purchased by members of the International Women's Club Zagreb, who were accompanied by their spouses.

 

"Ćevapi" with famous coach Ćiro

 

The evening was made interesting by an auction "unique experience", including for example, going out for a dinner of 'ćevapi' with the famous coach Ćiro Blazević for HRK 29,000 or an hour of tennis training with Goran Ivanišević for HRK 20,000.

 

Coach Slaven Bilić was the hero of the evening he was offered for bidding and he bid himself. He will pay HRK 10,000 for a cooking lesson by the Croatian culinary TV star Ana Ugarković. The biggest donator of the evening was UNIQUA insurance company, which way donate HRK 150.000 to UNICEF in the name of a plane trip to a match abroad with Slaven Bilić and the Croatian national football, enjoyed with a VIP service.
