Iranian film week


The focus of this year's Iranian Film Week in Tuškanac cinema, which will be held from March 15 until March 29, are four films directed by a cult director Majidi Majid. Majid is the first Iranian director that was nominated for the Oscar award in the Best Foreign Language Film category, with his film Children of Heaven, in 1999.

CINEMA TUŠKANAC

Modern Swedish film week

 

Modern Swedish films will be presented at the cinema Tuškanac between February 22 and March 4, in cooperation with the Croatian Film Clubs' Association and the Embassy of Sweden to Croatia. Eight films will be shown that were produced in the last five years, and all films will have subtitles in English and Croatian languages.

Murakami and Nara, Manga and anime

 

The exhibition 'Panting for joy: New Japanese Painting in the 90's, at the Meštrović Pavilion in Zagreb, which will be open until 21 February, provides an insight into the world of entertainment of the younger Japanese artists who worked with the popular Japanese comic Manga and anime, and whose visual symbols were transformed into paintings.
