Croatian Embassy showed cravat sculpture to 5000 visitors

This year Croatian E  assy in USA joined international project Around the World Open Door, participating for the first time in project supported by Passport DC and Cultural Tourism DC.

Embassy joined the project called Around of sculptures inspired by the tie and made by the New York artist Nicholas B. Doddazio: The Cravat sculpture, as an icon and symbol of Western Culture. More than five thousand people visited Embassy to experience Croatia, and there was also photo exhibition.

For us, Croats, it is an object or fashion accessory, part of the rich and proud history of Croatia, that spread around the world during last centuries.
