Christmas Bazaar for Šibenik Hospital
Christmas Bazaar, the biggest charity event of IWC Zagreb, will this year take place at the Open University, Av. Vukovar 68, on Sunday, December 6, 10 am - 4 pm. The objective is to raise HRK 250.000 for buying pre-natal equipment for the maternity ward at Šibenik General Hospital.
Although the hospital is lacking facilities and equipment, doctors are motivated to meet UNICEF standards for child friendly facility.
The event will be opened by First Lady Mrs. Milka Mesić, and 28 countries will be represented at the Bazaar. The entrence is free, and if you buy a raffle ticket for HRK 10 you have a chance to win a weekend for two at a five star hotel in Rome, or 60 other prizes. You can also buy handicrafts from around the world, toys, books, food, wine... it will all go to the good cause.
