Adventure in Samobor, Novi Vinodolski and Dolac
Besides the main fund-raising events, Christmas bazaar and Food festival, ladies will be launching smaller charity actions. The primary objective of the IWCZ is to provide a regular meeting place where expatriate women can meet, socialize, network and share information and experiences about life in Zagreb. General meeting held in October gathered around 80 women of different nationalities.
A lot of charity initiatives will be launched this year and they were discussed in detail during the General Meeting. Besides the main fund-raising events: Christmas bazaar and Food festival, ladies will be launching smaller charity actions. They have in mind volunteering groups going to the local children's homes to tutor them in English, use of computers, video and other skills. The IWCZ will also help organize charity lunches hosted by members and where all raised funds will go to support those in need, for example a local orphanage.
Talking about children, for the first time at General Meeting they had a cosy kid's corner. The mums and kids were very relaxed having space next to each other. Members had a chance to also hear a presentation by Mr. Davor Haber, a well-known master of Thai-Yoga Massage, and discover the particularities of this therapy. At the end of the meeting the podium was open for every member wishing to express herself. One more great morning between friends passed at the speed of light.
The International Women's Club has a variety of special interest groups that meet regularly, some even weekly. All IWCZ members are welcome to join groups throughout the year. In addition, every month they organise visits and tours in Zagreb and trips out of the capital.

26 Oct - 20.00 Visit to Heruc Galerija, Ilica 26
We will meet the shop owner and author of two best-seller books, Mrs. Lana Biondic, who will give her advice on 10 top-destinations in Zagreb and Croatia.
Mrs. Biondic wrote a best-selling book that included a high-heel guide to Zagreb. Each IWCZ guest will receive a small gift, in a form of a Heruc Membership card that will enable shopping with a discount.

Individual transportation by cars, we will be arranging car pools.
