New Year reception at President's office for Diplomatic Corps
New Year reception hosted by President Mr. Ivo Josipović and First Lady Mrs. Tatjana Josipović, was attended by 64 members of the Diplomatic corps, led by H. E. Mario Cassari and, also, nine representatives of international organizations accredited to Croatia. Amongst Croatian guests were the Prime Minister Zoran Milanović , Minister of Foreign Affairs Vesna Pusić and other representatives of the Government, Parliament, Armed Forces, coalition partners and representatives of national minorities. German and French ambassadors testing e-smart
The German ambassador Bernd Fisher and the French ambassador Jerome Pasquier have joined the promotion of usage of renewable sources of energy by having driven Mercedes Benz's electric automobil, e-smart, through Zagreb. The vehicle is also a result of economic cooperation between Germany and France, as German e-smart is assembled in French Hambach.

If I hear the ‘there's-nothing-to do-in-Zagreb-at-night' line again, I think I'll bloody scream. You just have to look around a bit and, as with much of what this city has to offer, the venues are not always promoted so well for your average visitor. Zagreb is in its infancy as a city-break destination - fetal almost - and bar and club operators look to the domestic consumer, reasonably enough, for their bread-and-butter.
